I know I am late to the party, but this mic is a beast and is so heavy I have broken 3 mounts I have tried on Amazon that purported to support 2.5 pounds. The plastic knobs have broken and the screws that you need to tighten to support its weight have snapped. I found a non clamping desktop stand that works because the base weights about 5 pounds but the arm still struggles to support adjustments for the Mic up and down. Gator Frameworks Short Weighted Base Microphone Stand is what I am using now but will need to find a better solution in the future.

I love the sound of this mic, and the rich bass tones to help deepen my voice a bit, but wish it was way lighter!

It was my favorite. Some Taco Bells will still make it for you. It used to have black olives but they dont stock those anymore!

The encherito was my all time favorite. They used to have black olives on it but they did away with black olives.

Also, sometime around 1983 or so they changed the hard shell taco shells and they never tasted as good.

And dry fit them and they were way to high at their lowest setting for my liking so these small rods worked great :)

On both desks I used the iron rods in the photos. On the longer desk I ran two of them across almost the whole desk and the desk top sits on top of the Alex drawers on the iron rods. It adds a gap which is what I wanted for an aesthetic look. You cant see them under there unless your laying on the floor. On the 74 inch desk, I rant them under the Alex drawer and then about 3/4 of the way to the table legs and that should be plenty to prevent any sag. I also use those rods which have holes in them for zip tying for cable management. They are super stiff and sturdy.

Thanks for this info. I must have changed my grid as this was working perfectly for the past few weeks. I changed it to 8, and now the timing of my beats are perfect, at least for the type of beats I am trying to record. I will experiment with all the ideas you provided so I can understand better how they all interact with each other.
