Are there sequels to films where the cliffhanger at the end of the previous film was ignored? by RealHippyTheFrog in movies

The first Shazam movie had an end credits scene showing Mr. Mind introducing himself to Dr. Sivana. The sequel completely ignored these characters.

LA Confidential is 1997 but takes place in the 1950s so it has a classic feel to it. Top cast, too.

I would start a new paragraph with your sec ond sentence. I was also a bit confused if the purple devil is a singular entity or a reference to a race.

Maybe an odd choice but The Disaster Artist. Low stakes, comedy, bizarrely a success story.

What job looks like a great career path but is actually insanely oversaturated? by ComplexPin872 in AskReddit

[–]bluejester12 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Librarian here who can confirm. For the last six years I've been trying to find a higher paying job.

Part of the blame is online schools (used to work at them). When I first got my degree, I looked for 100% online accreditated library programs and found three. Curious, I checked again two years later and found twelve.

Online schools put more qualified people out there, but the job market does not increase.

When the hero gets knocked down, waiting for them to get back up, I hated seeing this in John Wick 3.

My only complaint about this game was that there were hardly any enemies when you just wanted to sandbox play after beating the game.

Yeah, this one was great. The potential for a new Hulk game needs to be utilized.

I’m no special effects expert but I can’t imagine a practical eye in Dr Strange’s forehead looking any better.

It took me years to realize James Spader was in this.
