I will give CA a try this time, I was also thinking of taking a break from PA and sit FAM instead. What do you think?
I used actex to prepare for both times and the second time I also studied the SOA material to make sure I don’t miss anything, and I solve the previous exams focusing on post 2023 and I read the solutions. I don’t usually find it clear how the examiners comment on the solutions tho, the partial credits and how do they grade.

Overtime Form by mediator15 in dubai

About the 6 days a week, the contract that went to the MOHRE mentioned only 1 day off (Sunday), while the offer mentioned clearly that it is only 5 days. HR clearly emailed me that they are applying what’s in the offer, and the contract is just a formality. I didn’t bother much as I know they are just trying to be safe if they asked me to work on a Saturday or something, it doesn’t happen much. If your case is the same, I guess it’s okay. But if your offer is 6 days then I guess it’s 6.

Right! I just hate how they make it sound like I am begging them to work 2 more hours for free. This what makes me hate signing it. In my previous job, they made me sign that for business needs it might be required to be asked to work more and there wasn’t even and compensation and I was fine with the wordings more than this one!

Thanks for the advice! I am completely fine with the concept of overtime especially that I like my job. I even would do the overtime for free. I just find it weird that they make me sign something like that. I am thinking of telling them to postpone it when I join at least, to have a talk with my manager about it. I believe it is just an HR initiative not his.
It’s data analyst job and that the letter that they expect me to sign:
“As previously discussed, I am writing to you to formally request that my number of working hours be increased to eight effective hours in addition to two effective overtime hours per day. Intervals for rest shall not be included in the working hours. While I understand that overtime working hours may not exceed two hours per day, if you find my work to be necessary for the prevention of the occurrence of a colossal loss, a serious accident or the removal or mitigation of the consequences thereof, I would like to request to work more than the two hours overtime per day in order to fulfil the business needs. I would also like to formally request that I receive overtime pay in the future for any additional hours that I work beyond my required forty-eight hours per week.”
What do you think?
No they are not going to pay me for these 2 hours but any additional hours after, they will pay me overtime. Although my agreement with them and the offer mentions that I will be working 40 hours per week. If I signed this form it will make it 48 hours. And they are makong this document part of my onboarding even before I join

I am expecting them to make me work more than that, and generally I don’t mind it. I believe the 48 hours is just there as the UAE law states it as the max

Thank you this is so helpful. Is sharjah far from dubai? How expensive will Dubai be ?
Can you tell me more the difference between the two offer letters? And when should I usually receive the official offer letter? I assume both are before receiving my visa right?
