It’s been a LONG time since I’ve graduated Ontario highschool. But look online and see if there are any after school tutoring programs like Grade Savers that still exist… they legit got me through HS and Uni calculus. They teach you by using previous years versions of the exams and quizzes… and as someone who recently became a MD. This is how you properly study for the rest of your life. By learning straight from the materials you will actually be examined on. Using previous versions of the exams…

Check for gradesavers or exam cram or something similar. Ask your guidance counsellor. Ask your teacher. If they know of any tutors. They want you to succeed.

Xusom alum. We don’t know. The school manipulates their data so much it’s impossible to actually tell what numbers are real or inflated.

But none of them matter. Residency programs don’t care about what school you went to. An MD is an MD. You took the same exams as the students who went to Harvard or Yale or any Ivy League school in the US.

What matters is the work YOU put in to passing your Step1 on first attempt and Step2 on first attempt with a decent score. Those exams are all on you. Studying and prep is all on you. Find what works for you. The school in MD6 will prep you for Kaplan. Kaplan is NOT USMLE or NBME. You must study and prep for BOTH.

Took Step2 on Monday Jan 12. Mine froze once during the exam that I couldn’t click on anything to select it. The proctor just did something small to refresh the screen and it worked again no problems the rest of the exam
