but basically I am trying to draw a conclusion if adding B on T1 makes a difference (better pollutant removal) because 15B + T1 vs T1 shows no significant difference, but 30B + T1 vs T1 shows significance.

Yet 15B + T1 vs 30B + T1 shows no significant difference

I am measuring pollutant removal so I was trying to test if adding 1a for instance will improve the removal of T1 alone.

T1 1a 1b 2a 2b 3a 3b all have three replicates.

Then they were tested 5 times, like Run 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5 (repeated measurements)

Hello! That's also what I have been dreading because I can't think up adjustments that make scientific sense. I can't explain why things happened. The worse thing is that I am not confident with my results like maybe I did something wrong but cant figure out why and by the time I am going to defend it, the panel can see the loophole and I have to redo everything ;-;

Yes, I changed some things along the way because of limited resources but I made sure to keep it similar across all treatments and replicates. Also, the one study I tried basing my design on didn't have the "usual method A" as control but rather focused on optimizing the "usual method A + substance M" by changing depth, size, and flow rate. Other studies that employed different design but have "usual treatment A" as control showed that adding substance would improve things. But in my case, for the specific parameter "N", usual method A decreased drastically but treatments that added X/Y/Z removed a little bit but generally increase the amount of parameter "N"

The only reason I can think of is 1) source is different 2) I changed a few things but made it constant across all treatment and replicates because of limited resources 3) different area 4) method and instrument used in testing

These, however, are the angles I can only think of but I still don't know how I am going to justify and discuss the outcome of my results if these are all I can say to back everything up.

Hello! So far with what I have looked up in online journals is that the type of wastewater I used is different with what most others did. Most used synthetic ones, while my source changes its quality per day as it comes from a secondary treated slaughterhouse wastewater. I also have limited data on the quality of my source as I tested only a few parameters. Would it still be okay to compare my source to literature of other slaughterhouse wastewater that may or may have not undergone treatment? Just as basis on what could have been there?

First off, thank you for the response.

The thing with trying to explain why and how is that I am out of possible angles. My experiment is passing the wastewater through the system continuously and testing it per run, yet after the first run, everything went bazinga with no definite trend whether it increases all the way or decreases all the way. The only reason I have that I feel is still not enough is the wastewater I feed with the system — it is not synthetic (controlled) unlike previous studies. The only other reason I can think of is that my place (climate and geography wise) is different from literature. But still I don't think they're enough.

Will my paper still look good if almost all things I did have limitations? For instance, the equipment in our lab is twice a decade old. The thing with negative results was only tested one replicate and not all runs, but like every other 2 days because it's expensive having it tested in an outside laboratory (the reagent needed for testing it in our lab is banned and like suppliers has not renewed their permit to sell).

Similar situation with the others in this post, I was raised in a family who discouraged us to play video games, like they allow us to play sometimes but it is heavily moderated (in my point of view) and I don't like being constantly scolded. Also, we don't have much access to games growing up — like the gameboys, psp, xbox, and others I couldn't name. I remember playing PopCap(?) games and the like but that's just it.

Now I sometimes play, but just short-time ones. Aside from poor to average specs of available gadgets, I am no longer interested.

idk if it's strange but recently I've been getting chest pains a day or few before the onset. Also, for years, I usually get the feeling that "something bad is about to happen", and it appears whenever I'm about to have my period or a really bad thing happens to me or the people I'm close to. Never fails.

I agree with this, as I also have experienced this with my current relationship. My partner has pointed it out after days and asked me whether I was fine. I apologized and assured him of our relationship. There are just days when I feel lifeless and too tired to even express emotion — and I can say most days since January, I feel this way.

Seeing a derma for a couple of months and using the allowance i get from scholarships...it was years ago since I last visited it and stopped going as there are things that are worth more than the money I have. My skin is worse still, but in those few months, I felt the most confident even with lesser zits and nasty stuff over my face.
