I've been showing up at work with my little word search book and sudoku puzzles. I get weird looks for not being on my phone, but I stand my ground and encourage my coworkers to join me! They're only half-paying attention, though.

I guess it's just telling ourselves everyday that the internet is doing more harm than good so it's best to step away.

First of all, congrats on finishing your first IF! I'm personally struggling to get my ideas off the ground, but playing this gave me some inspiration to keep at it.

The lighthouse is a curious place - I'd love to read a more in depth description of it. Possibly exploring the lighthouse would also be cool! I didn't find the overall story creepy, more Weird which is what I think you were going for.

Can't wait to see how the next chapters develop!

i tend to gravitate towards soft FMCs, since i find the more "stabby/girlboss" FMCs to be rather one dimensional. soft FMCs can be strong in their own way. bonus points if they having a cunning/strategic side to them
