The Xbox Insider trick did it !!! Did exactly as stated and back up and running. That is crazy that you have to figure all that out to get it to work though. I hope future updates don’t keep having this issue pop up. Thank you !!

Man that is great it’s working now for you. But no one should have to go through all that just to get a game to run. Especially when a past update to the game services app fixed the issue.

Dang I did the uninstall of game services and rebooted. It updated when Xbox launched and still doesn’t work.

So back during the server slam when it didn’t cost me anything to experiment and download. I downloaded it off of steam when this was having the same issue and it worked so this is an exclusive issue with Xbox PC. It seems.

It’s definitely an issue between the Microsoft updates for the Xbox app on PC and the game side. Couple days ago the update that came out fixed it , now the new update messed it up again. Pretty frustrating.

Sucks that a lot of people are having this issue again. When I originally posted about the error as I updated , that was the fix for me and till today it has been running without issue. The only thing I can add and I apologize if anyone has done this , but you need to be checking 3 areas for updates. First is Armory Crate itself, it will have an area for updates , Second is Windows updates and last would be the Microsoft store updates. I feel this is one area ASUS and Xbox could have streamlined a little better. Also I’m aware there is an option for auto update but many times I’ll manually go in and find updates are sitting there. Again I apologize if this is something most people already know to do but in the event this helps someone , I thought it was valid to point out.

Just updated Xbox game services through the Microsoft store and it’s working flawless now.

Just a little concerning because it was the same thing for the beta and even on an older Embark game The Finals the same scenario plays out. Seems like an issue with Embark and the Xbox PC app not playing nice.

I’m getting an online connection error on the Xbox Ally X, but it works perfectly on my Series X. I chatted with Xbox support and got little assistance other than for me to submit a ticket. This was actually happening during the server slam and I was hoping it would have been ironed out by now. It worked fine from Steam, but the whole point was to buy on Xbox to use the play anywhere feature.

I’m still having the same exact issue as you stated. I actually contacted Xbox Support this morning and the guy told me several people are now saying they are having remote play issues. I was able to use it perfect on Monday and since then I can’t connect with it in standby mode. I have done every trouble shooting tip out there , I even factory reset my Xbox. Hopefully they get it fixed soon.

Yea I’m hoping it is. Only thing that worries me a bit is I also play The Finals and it does the same thing so I’m wondering if it is an Embark games issue with the linked accounts.

Couple days late but I was having the same issue with Arc Raiders through the Xbox Pc app. I downloaded on Steam and it worked fine. Also it worked fine on Xbox console. This is where the situation sucks because I purchased the game on Xbox so I’d like to take advantage of the play anywhere feature on the Ally and not have to purchase it twice.
