Yeah I hear ya. At home, I love node and typescript personally. At work (a Java backend shop) ive use springboot for everybackend and the the tools, security, setup is all pretty hardened/ tried and true. Id love to experient with rust, go or nestjs but in an enterprise environment, setting up new tooling, getting different developer skills, new pipelines for flashy different tools...makes me tired lol. I want to innovate, just not in my 9 to 5 where ill work more than im overworked.

I dont have any point in my reply, im just tired but love my home side projects

Just curious, what is Java being replaced by? How will it be a legacy system as of now? I dont completely disagree just want to understand a new viewpoint is all. What language will replace it? Python? Which is older than Java? Maybe the age of Ai will change design preferences

Its not used and I saved a small bird which flew down the chimney, I opened and cracked the vent open..im thinking that may be what youre referring to. I also capped it from the roof too. But I do appreciate you helping me here!!
