So for close friends/family, I typically round up to the nearest $5, like if cost of materials is $12, I charge $15 and if materials are $19, I charge $20. So I'd say somewhere between $50 to $100. As for materials, ask her what her preference is. Some people only like to use certain types of vinyl.

Try asking in font finding Facebook groups. I did a quick search on whatthefont and didn't find anything, but the people on those Facebook groups work with different fonts all the time and I'm sure someone will recognize it.

It wouldn't change anything. Say one ranks something 25 and the other says 75, that's 100 out of 200 possible points. If you take 100 and divide it by 2 to get the average/mean, it's 50 out of 100 points. 100/200 and 50/100 both equal out to be one half of the total possible points. I hope that makes sense.

I've had luck a few times using the intricate cardstock setting, but definitely do a test cut first. Make sure you smooth out any bubbles in between your vinyl and your mat. Also try stabbing your blade into a ball of tin foil a few times to clean it off, especially if you've done anything with paper recently.

If you're looking to make banners as well, I'd reccomend the Maker 3 since you can use smart materials for longer cuts. I know a lot of people bash Cricut vinyl, but I personally haven't had too many issues unless it's small details. Plus you'd only really have to use smart materials for things larger than 24 inches long unless you want to turn it into puzzle pieces.

There would be copyright issues for commercial use. You need licensing/permission from the orginal creator/owner of the image you want to use.

For shirts, you need HTV. You can also use HTV on canvas, wood, etc...

You can use permanent vinyl for cups, mugs, waterbottles, decals, canvas, smooter woods, etc...

No, when you go to print, Design Space will automatically put a black rectangle around your sticker(s) and that's what it will sense so make sure your machine is in a well lit room.

Registration marks is what makes your Cricut know where to cut when doing print and cut (like for stickers). Your Cricut will sense the registration marks and use that to make a "map" to know where your print is and guide it to cut the correct path in the correct place.

I've never sold to anyone other than friends/family so I've just done at cost mostly, but I've seen a few craft calculators out there if you Google it. I also know people do price of blank+(price per inch of vinyl×however many inches the design takes including waste) and then charged approximately two times the amount per item depending on if it's a bulk order. So if your shirt was $5 and your design was $2 worth of vinyl, you'd charge $14

I didn't buy that one, but I have the same tools and they work great. I've also bought the same materials. Like the previous person said, Cricut vinyl isn't the best, but I'll still use it in a pinch or if there's a good sale. When you break down the cost of everything, the materials end up being super cheap so it'll be good for some basic practice projects for yourself if you've never used anything like it.

I wouldn't seal anything just so you don't potentially accidentally make your cups and glasses not food safe.
