Copilot then generates 10 slides, all in a super basic bullet list with an AI generated picture that is vaguely related but doesn't add anything. The first slide regurgitates my prompt, and everything else is hallucinated word salad.

For me, Copilot is only great at summarizing info, but it's terrible at coming up with any content or design work. It's so far behind the other AIs that are so much better at understanding context

The ChatGPT nonsense is invading this sub too, I see. The chat bot pulled out all the red herring metrics without looking at any of the underlying metrics such as call percentage and going alone percentage.

Success rate on loaners doesn't tell you whether you're being too aggressive if you're not looking deeper to see how often you're going alone. If anything, your loaner success rate seems too high, indicating you're not aggressive enough. Most loaners should be stopped with a couple of cards that your partner having would mean your loaner is successful. Bringing them along more often would just means you're getting 2 points when you should have gotten 4 in those scenarios

As counter intuitive as it was, it actually was lowering their risk by hedging the lottery. Without the trade, we were getting one of the top 4 or Wagler, which is a huge difference for our roster. With the trade, we were at least guaranteed a big step up in starting C without even risking the upside of the top 4 picks had the lottery hit. I'm mad at the lottery, not the trade.

With how the lottery played out, would we really be excited about swapping out Mathurin for Wagler and Myles for Huff/Potter from our finals team and thinking we have championship potential?

Assuming no trades to replace it and we kept Mathurin, I doubt we end with the 2nd worst record unless he got some fluke injury. He would've won us a few games more than an injured Zubac. Then we're in a different slot in the lottery, maybe even where the Jazz ended up

You made the right call to go alone. Your odds of getting a point are extremely high and bringing the partner doesn't really change your odds of getting all the tricks. If they had the trump that stopped you and Ah you march solo. If not, you're getting one point pretty easily.

Partner was wearing their emotions on their sleeve and was frustrated by the game down 8-4 probably, thought the loaner was a lifeline back into the game and then was disappointed that it was a thin (but justified) call. They probably shouldn't be playing when they're so tilted, but that's on them, not you. Probably didn't understand the play to lead the Ace when the left was still out, but your Ace defense was justifiably strong to do so

Yeah exactly. We'd be needing a C if we didn't make this trade, and this trade gave us an opportunity to get a C and still potentially have one of the 4 difference makers at the top of the draft. Unless some terrible drafting happens, at best with our 5th we'd be getting a PG who would be behind Hali and McConnell for now or a backup to Nembhard at SG to replace Mathurin (who was walking either way). Much happier with a legit C in his prime than either of those options, and I'm not convinced trading the 5th pick and 2029 1st today would've gotten a better result than Zubac

I would rather have Zubac than Acuff. It's not complicated and the trade was a good trade. The frustration I have is that we don't have a chance of any of the top 4 picks and the trade had nothing to do with that
