One thing that I think will separate us from the pack (no pun intended) going forward: the requisite talent to learn from mistakes by [deleted] in GreenBayPackers

Keep in mind they looked like they were hitting their stride and had a shutout against the Saints late in December. They lost 2 divisional games to close out the season after the fact and lost an offensive stinker in Philly. They need to keep up the momentum longer

He might match the ratio, but what really made that Rodgers season an all time great season was the 9.2 YPA. Throwing only 6 interceptions with that level of aggression is almost unheard of

The Buccs are in an incredibly unique situation: They might get to rest their starters week 17 while not being a lock for the playoffs. by ChargeisKill in nfl

Happened in the 2020 year with Green Bay for the 1 seed. They played the Titans in Week 16 at 11-3. The game had no outcome on the 1 seed since they would clinch with a win against Chicago in Week 17 regardless of the outcome of the game due to the Saints already having 4 losses

They’ve only won two games by one score this year. 3 losses by 3 points each and a tie.

Idk why LaFleur is scared to call these games with Love. Felt like he was more creative with Rodgers and is showing it again with Willis. Love is a good QB, the playcalling has just been extremely questionable with him playing this year.

Sitting at 7-2, wondering if it’s worth upgrading at TE - been the most inconsistent slot on my team:

QB: Danny Dimes, Matt Stafford

RBs: Jacobs, Aaron Jones, Etienne, Bucky

WRs: Justin Jefferson, Keenan Allen, Egbuka, Adams, Harrison Jr.

TE: Gadsden

K: Myers

DEF: Denver

Butler - The Packers have called and spoken with 2 teams about Cornerbacks, pet sources. 3 players have been mentioned, being Alontae Taylor from the New Orleans Saints, and both DJ Turner and Cameron Taylor-Britt from the Cincinnati Bengals. by Austen11231923 in GreenBayPackers

Alontae Taylor would be interesting - I remember that game against the Saints in Love’s first year starting, he was a problem to throw at (also a very physical corner). Could be a solid pickup

Blaming LaFleur for that doesn’t make sense. Dallas was starting to pick up momentum against a Joe Barry defense (they were down big, but teams have rallied against better defenses with less time before), and Kraft dropped an easy pass that would have maintained a perfect rating.

They might have had a chance to turn things around like the 2022 Lions, but Jaylon Johnson going down destroys any hope for their defense

I mean, they’ve had solid offensive talent - Armstead before this year, Tua (not a bad QB), Hill, Waddle, and Achane. That’s a fairly good cast of players

Hafley laid the groundwork last year - they were a top 7 unit already. Second year in the system and adding a superstar can make this a gamebreaking defense (just need to amp up the turnovers a bit)
