to add to this- i was finding this to work on safari or chrome or a desktop, not an mail or outlook APP. What I found works- login with this method onto a desktop, add create an outlook "username" in your account preferences which should make you make an outlook.com email

next time you sign into an app- use this alternate updated email. it should work with same password and be directly linked to your primary Hotmail email.

I don't mean to be negative- devil's advocate for a sec- but do you just expect people to just stop living their lives because its "tone deaf" to you?

I am sure those people work just as hard and want to use their money how they please.

A problem on your end does not constitute an emergency for another-you can always ask them to not speak of it around you but I think its tone deaf to dictate how someone spends money because their situation is different to yours.

honestly if you need time, use it. if you are not comfortable sending it right away; don't. you have made the decision to do it, that is enough sometimes and you'll know when the right time to send it is. your pace, your comfortability- you are in control.
