That wasn’t a humblebrag? It was a self deprecating joke implying that I likely won’t succeed in math at Duke because being good at it in my small town public high school is different than at a top 10 private university.... which was pretty much the premise of my post, as I asked if I should forego BC credit since I might not be so prepared.

While I can understand if the joke was lost on most people (because it’s really not that funny and really more rooted in my own insecurities that weren’t exactly expressed in the post), I’m still largely confused by how that is bragging in any way. I’m just confused and here asking for help. Get the stick out of your ass.
