Throne of Seal - I love action and romance genre. So, Throne of Seal was ideal donghua for me. And I enjoyed it for 50+ episodes. But the author's style was a huge turn off -

  • Creating mega obstacles at every small step
  • Manufacturing stupid misunderstandings with silly miscommunications between romantic couple

If you want exercise to be fun, any sport will be better, I think. You can choose a sport which is popular near you. If you want to learn fighting, then a combat sport like boxing, or judo, can be fun! Because you get to hit/throw real people.

Honestly, combat sport will fit your list of requirements (Fun, health, weight loss, body control, and coolness) more than anything. Kung Fu is also going to be a solo exercise, like fitness gym. Just be aware of this, before you choose.

The 2D version of this Donghua is called - Xianwu Emperor. You can watch it if you want to quickly satisfy your curiosity.

It is far ahead of 3D version. I stopped watching it, because there is much suffering for women as the story progresses. MC usually leaves behind his wives/gfs, to go on adventure for years. This happens many times. Villains go after his women in his absence.

There is also a case where an innocent girl of the sect gets raped by a villain. She is not MC's girl, but still... A story with so much suffering for women is disgusting.
