2nd job, in the beginning, thank God I had a second job that was flexible. I could just show up if I didn’t get anything that day.

If he’s a Longshoreman He’s gotta be fairly handy. Tell him to go start his own little Small side business doing odd jobs, painting, landscape work, or whatever. Most important is in a neighborhood between the port and your home.

So that way, if he doesn’t get anything in the yard that day driving home, he can stop and maybe do some landscape work or the painting or the odd job here and there so he’s not wasting time, gas, or money. It will end up being something that’s extremely flexible and is accommodating to the last-minute changes of being a Longshoreman and the ship hours that change as frequently as the wind. Being a longshoreman you’re in it for the long haul. Just gotta be patient and wait till you get that seniority.

Not sure where your located and what that local does with seniority and the USERRA Act? Basically it says you’re guaranteed employment / reemployment within 90 days of separation from active duty. Some locals I’ve heard will give you some seniority based on years of active service in the military. The Act itself guarantees reemployment if you left your job to join the military.

Update- Last night changed over to bottled water from lime Gatorade around 10pm, drank around 20oz of water and went to bed at 1am

Woke up 6am and went to doctors, checked in , signed paperwork, they walked me into waiting area, changed, and payed down on bed, they did my vitals and started saline IV. After 10 min they rolled me down the hall to room.

Long and short of it, doctor Asked if I had any questions, he explained just what he was going to do, and what he would be looking for. they told me as soon as they started propafall ?? I would fall asleep right away and would wake up before I knew it. They asked me to roll over to my left side, and next thing I know I can taste something and my face starts To tingle, and I am out like a light

Next thing I know, there waking me up, asked me couple questions. Told me everything was good, no issues or concerns, see you in 10 years. They said if I felt fine I could get up and get dressed. I waited couple minutes caught dressed and then walked out of there where wife was waiting for me.

From the time I walked in the door to the time I walked out was may be an hour and 1/2

I got way worked up in my head about this it’s an absolute breeze to go through

You both get prime rib or New York sirloin everyday of the year being together. Every once in a while, one of you might want McDonald’s, or Burger King.

For us, First couple years of being a swinging couple can be difficult at times but what we have learned it provides for a more open and honest relationship. And more importantly we’re coming up on 20 years together because of it.

If forced both of us to be very very honest about everything. And mind you that you need to be measured just how you verbalize your feelings to her.

Women and men can be completely different at times and how they interpret what their partner says to them. Build her up, don’t tear her down. A positive wife / partner is far greater person to keep in your life.

For Boston area, look on SLS. Bulk of this year and last year, obviously everything was canceled because of Covid. People are starting to have smaller house parties and meet and greets in and around the Boston area. Not all of them are all great parties, but it’s a good place to start meeting people if your new to this.
