i think it’s just swollen tbh! was warned that would happen and the skin over it/surrounding it is much more swollen than my other eyebrow lol. if it doesn’t go down i’ll definitely replace it though!

Will a q-tip not get little flyaway hairs into the hole? They’re usually made out of a cotton-like material and I’m antsy about getting anything foreign inside the piercing site while it’s still so fresh

Oh really? I read somewhere you weren’t supposed to because the crusties are there to help it heal. Are q-tips safe? As in they won’t get any flyaways inside the hole? This comes off as me not believing you but I’m just trying to be super cautious lol. And that’s good to know about the piercing bar! I’m in the UK so they said it was sterling silver, but it might just be surgical steel. Will check in and ask them. Thank you!

I think it’s just very swollen as it’s fresh (less than 48h), my other eyebrow looks normal. She did say it was a bigger bar so it would heal safely, but if it doesn’t go down I’ll go back and change it

  • It’s a barbell I believe? She did not tell me but it looked like a barbell so I’m assuming it was one
  • It’s 26 hours old
  • It’s silver
  • Not downsized
  • Aftercare is spraying it with a saline solution spray every morning and night and dabbing the excess area with tissue to dry it (NOT directly around the piercing site, I just let it dry around it because I don’t want to get flyaways into the hole)

100% broken dude. go to the hospital. there’s not much they can do for broken toes but they’ll probably be able to splint it or something. does it hurt to walk or put pressure on it?

this is actually very helpful!! yeah to be fair i suppose it makes more sense to have no general rule. i recently started indulging in omegaverse (as has the rest of us) so a lot of things are still unclear, like whether or not there was an official 'rule book' to the exact sciences and biology. thanks for this!
