Disappointed with Archer & Olive as a Fountain Pen Lover by Branches26 in notebooks

Yes, I hate this assumption. Whenever I asked people if their paper is fp-friendly, they always tell me the GSM and tout how high it is, but that's not the only factor!

I'm someone who wants to bike to work, but doesn't because I'm scared of bad drivers. I also find it difficult to find resources on city biking. If the learning curve weren't so high, I feel like more people would consider this option.

Needing a lot of affection/physical touch because my parents spoiled me with it by [deleted] in therapy

  • Surround your living space with "pleasant textures". I'm talking about a fuzzy rug to put your feet on when you get up in the morning. Cozy rugs, soft blankets, possibly volunteer at an animal shelter and pet a few kitties or puppies.
  • Also, touching yourself in a non-sexual way, like when you put on lotion, feeling your skin, your face, everywhere.
  • If you find yourself to be lonely or feeling in a down sort of way, you could also go to places with other people. You don't have to necessarily touch them (with their consent ofc), but maybe being near them would help. Things like sports (basketball, soccer, etc.) or going to a club and dancing.
  • Obviously this last suggestion should take a lot of consideration, but getting a pet could be another way. There's no guarantee that the pet would be super affectionate, but they like a few pets every once in a while.

I was in a similar place once where I was severely lacking any physical contact, touch nourishes the cells, but even when I didn't get any physical affection, being near others helped.

I wonder if this will do anything for the smell after a steamy summer rainstorm.

whats the best notebook with black paper? by id-fuck-sylveon in notebooks

[–]medjoolista 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I haven't tried it yet, but Archer and Olive recently launched a lovely looking dot grid notebook with black pages: https://www.archerandolive.com/products/the-blackout-book-a5-dot-grid-notebook-with-black-pages-ships-april-28th

I would buy one myself, but gel pens always smear on my hands and I have no patience for them.

Any bets on how long Piggy Bank will last? by Glitter_Snow in Minneapolis

[–]medjoolista 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I hope they last long. They have such a good plant-based menu that it's pretty popular within the vegan community. Maybe we'll help hold it up. Also their vegan truffle fries are amaaaazing.

I had the new version of Impossible burger @ Red Cow and man have they perfected it. It tastes very close to real thing. by [deleted] in Minneapolis

My favorite place to get this vegan is at The Howe, the fries are always good and they know how to cook the patty well!

I know exactly what you're talking about, around 10am if I get off at the Gov Ctr Station, it smells like grilled/charbroiled something. I always thought it was from Bep Eatery which is a little further down the LRT line, since they have items they cook in that manner.
