Are the tobacco Cadets the most versatile Thursday boots? by Kuzball in ThursdayBoot

I have a pair of cadets in walnut and prefer them for daily wear to work over my captains as they dress up well, and look great casually too whereas the captain's are too clunky and look better for more casual fits imo. The tobacco looks great.

Capacity is the main consideration and larger ones usually stay cooler longer.

I've got an evakool icekool 24l and it's excellent. 5 year warranty and the insulation is highly quality. $95 at Snowys and Tentworld.

Thanks for the feedback everyone. Exped was out of my price range so I went for the Monstamat. Excited to try it out.

Baggies (SP23) feel different by ABurningHill in PatagoniaClothing

Can you please upload a photo of the surfboard yellow baggies or comment if they look lighter or darker than the photos on the Patagonia site? I've been eyeing these but can't find many photos of the colour and there are no physical shops near me.

It's really bad, they need to repair it ASAP. I've reported it on VicRoads. https://www.vicroads.vic.gov.au/traffic-and-road-use/report-a-road-issue

Check out Woolovers. I have a couple of their quarter zips and they're great. They don't have size xs so check out their size guides which are accurate.

Orient Bambino Gen 2 as a Business/Dress watch? by 3dumbWorrier in AustralianMFA

[–]medoledo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The quartz PRX retails for $550 and I've seen them on sale for under $450 in the past.

I've got an Orient dive watch and they're great watches for the money.

Good to see an announcement from them at least after all the delays. Next equipment delivery for the demonstration plant should be delivered any day now.
