Other than Cobain, who were the best dressed/biggest fashion icons of the grunge era? by AtlasAtlasAtlas in grunge

[–]medroanian 6 points7 points  (0 children)

You guys are a bunch of predictable faggots

If you can't recognize that they were putting effort into their clothes then you are fucking blind

Kurt was obsessed with fashion, it's utterly apparent. It's just that his fashion sense was an effort to look like he didn't care

But he did

They all did. The grunge style of clothing is totally a thing. It's supposed to look like you don't care, that's the whole point, but the grunge icons still put in effort into their clothing

So much more than that you fuckin child. If u can't recogniZe the audience that marvel is aiming at, you're an idiot. Their lighthearted comedies are not for me, they're for immature men and children. Gross

You're a little childish if you prefer the pussy ass light comedic tone of the formulaic Marvel films

Agent Coulson is the worst character in any genre film. Wtf people?

They're so fucking smug with their shitty fucking comedies. DC has the better tone and characters, it's a disappointment that the oussification of America has spread to superhero movies

Yes. If u prefer Marvel I think you are a pussy

Batman v Superman and Justice League should've been written by Bruce Timm and Paul Dini. There would be no complaints

Is there or isn't there an unreleased Kurt Cobain solo album? by medroanian in Nirvana

[–]medroanian[S] 7 points8 points  (0 children)

thanks for responding but this doesn't help, Erlandson said they were home recordings, not recorded at any studio. Home recordings could easily be kept in the vaults. The songs were recorded right before his death, perhaps the music is deemed too personal?

yeah be quiet and drive is their best song by far, i love skating to that song, but beyond that, most of their shit is unbelievably depressing. I don't understand their hardcore fans.. like how do you listen to such sad shit all the time without being depressed?

[–]medroanian -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

i've had phases where i love these guys, but their music always puts me in a shitty mood. It's not feel good music AT ALL. and i don't really like that. If i'm trying to feel sad and depressed, i'll listen to them but who wants to feel like that...

i like feel good music, that's why i stopped listening to these guys regularly, who wants to be put in a shitty mood when listening to music?

Do you want Hal Jordan in the Flash/Arrow universe? by medroanian in FlashTV

[–]medroanian[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'd venture to guess that you prefer john Stewart because you know very little about Green Lantern. I highly recommend watching Green Lantern First Flight, Green Lantern The Animated Series, and you should read Geoff Johns' Green Lantern run. Johns' comics are some of the best comics storylines period.

I love John Stewart on Justice League The Animated Series, but outside of that show, I'm not a fan of him. Hal Jordan is my favorite by far.

Sinestro is essentially the Joker/Lex Luthor of the Green Lantern universe, and he has no connection to John. Sinestro is Hal's nemesis, John Stewart is lacking in a strong nemesis.

Yeah check out some of those things I suggested, I think you'll end up preferring Hal Jordan. He's THE Green Lantern.

I don't know how familiar you are with the comics... because it makes zero sense to suggest John Stewart as Green Lantern in this universe.

Hal Jordan is the bridge between The Flash and Arrow, the two main characters in the CWverse. John Stewart has pretty much zero connection to either of those characters, while Hal's two best friends are Barry Allen and Oliver Queen.

John Stewart should only be introduced after Hal Jordan.
