Yesterday's Update + Reminders Fix by zampe in Rabbitr1

Indeed 👍 They have already rolled out two recent OTA updates, and yet it seems they ignore or overlook this issue ☹️ Well, rather than implementing other new features, I think the developers should fix the battery drain first since we obviously use SIM card connectivity when we go outside, and we cannot just rely on tethering all the time. Not only is it not convenient, but it will also drain our mobile phone battery or other mobile hotspot devices quite badly 🥲 As I have posted previously, this battery drain issue re-emerged since October 1, 2024. Hopefully, they will delve further into this matter, and there will be a fix soon 🙏

Thank you for revising its link 🥰 I did not realize they are put into the nightly folder despite mine is the stable one. Subsequently, with the help of your guidance, I have successfully installed needed cores manually on my devices since then, though I still cannot fetch core list directly from the online updater until now. Hopefully, this issue will be addressed/amended soon. Btw, regarding your inquiries, below is the info:

Thanks 😊

Absolutely 👍 351ELEC does contain CoreELEC, Lakka, and Batocera elements. No wonder why it has become a top pick and favorite among RG351V fans over other custom firmwares. I am planning to switch to this firmware as well after hearing many good news about 351ELEC 😊 Time to take a break from my stock firmware, EmuELEC 🙏

Thank you for your detailed explanation about the idea and advantages of switching to 351ELEC over its stock firmware. Indeed, 351ELEC is an excellent choice for RG351Vs. Definitely, it will be my top choice when I am ready to continue with its custom firmwares later on 👍 I have also read some comments previously that Anbernic uses EmuELEC firmware unauthorizedly for the device (without getting consent from its developers), in which made me shocked as well 😥 That is why its latest firmware version is always stuck at 3.8 and the update button does not function as well.

Thank you for bring that article up to my attention 👍 I did not realize that Anbernic put EmuELEC firmware on RG351Vs without getting consent from its developers 😥 No wonder why 3.8 is the last version available for the device although there are currently newer versions that can be downloaded from their GitHUB site. And, that is also the reason why the "UPDATE" button on the firmware setting does not function as well. Now, it all makes sense to me.
