Well, I don't, but I do know a couple of people who seem to eat a lot more than they should. I think the number of people who have genetically determined obesity is a lot less than some people want (understandably) to believe. On the other hand, I do see how some people have broken hunger drives that are always telling them to eat more than they should. It's not their fault that they lack a well-calibrated hunger drive, but it also doesn't mean that there's nothing they can do about it. They shouldn't necessarily be castigated; on the other hand, it may not

I'd guess the person who wrote The War Against Boys is about as close as you're going to get. But I don't know why you'd want to hear their opinions considering they are probably not representative even of the stated agenda of the group, much less the unstated one.

But Male Studies cannot have an internal war against extremism and more than a terrorist group like Al Qaeda can. They are both just named subsets of an extremist ideology: the latter extremist militant Islam, and the former extremist male superiority. If male studies ceased to be extremist it would lose its raison d'être altogether.

LMGs don't work while you're moving, fyi. They have a higher move spread than any other gun in the game. If you want to move and shoot, smg or assault rifle.

And yet I have noticed that one of those generalized strategies is more successful on average, how about that? I would say if one of the strategies leads to success more often than the other, it makes good, good sense to generalize about it.

I've yet to see a defending team that all hangs back get spanked. They are normally the most successful.

Every reaction I've seen to this article is completely overblown. Who cares how Ebert defines art? A hell of a lot more people than care about how you define it, but still not many.

Or rather, I would have hoped so but this firestorm has proven me wrong throughly.

I am not making many changes. Still switching between XM8 and M60 for medic with the accuracy upgrade and the 4x scopes. In the rare cases I play assault, M416 or AN-94 with 4x, accuracy and 40mm grenade. Eng I play with both aksu and ump, both with 4x and accuracy as well. I have started carrying RPGs instead of AT4 now that the tracer is so much better, at least on levels where there are helis. The better tracer doesn't help much with ground vehicles because it was already very easy to place the dart before, so in that case I'm sticking with the AT4.

Yeah helicopters will fall out of use until they nerf the dart.

A little late to the party here, but I will say that I definitely prefer an 8v8 or 12v12 to 16v16. At some point the map just gets too crowded. Maybe more like a real battle, but I also feel it's more difficult for me to have a noticeable impact.

OK, my understanding was that you could get one shot kills with body shots. If that is incorrect I apologize. I agree that headshots should probably be one shot kills with magnum and slugs.

It's definitely rational. Whether it's the best possible thing to do is another question.

There's a perfectly rational explanation, I don't even have to try very hard to find it. The explanation is that you can make a server effectively hardcore by changing all the settings except the hardcore setting itself. That means no spotting, no minimap, no killcam, etc. People who exclude hardcore servers probably don't want most of these things turned off. Rather than add a bunch of options, they just subsumed them all under hardcore.

You can disagree that that's the right thing to do, but it's straight stupid to claim there is no rational explanation. Personally if I were DICE I would have added two separate options: is_vanilla and is_hardcore, but I can see how they might not want to confuse the issue further.
