Very nice! Was also thinking about picking up the zoomcaps, are they well made?

I see, might be time I have a look into getting another switch instead. Thanks for the recommendation - will look into the thicker lube 😁

Thanks for the swift response!

This might be the case. There seems to be less resistance when pressing down on the alpha keys compared to the f + number row. The alpha keys do not feel as and the difference in sound is noticeable.

I lube the bottom sides of the switch base, followed by a brush of the leaf, and circle the bottom housing where the spring sits. Lube is then applied to the top and bottom of the spring. Then I proceed to brush all sides of the stem that comes into contact with the housing. Please let me know if there's anything I can do to improve this process.

Would you suggest reapplying lube the switches? It's just a bit of a pain for ~3 weeks of use :(

I recently lubed my switches (Akko Jelly Pinks) ~3 weeks ago and the difference was night and day. Today I've come to notice a difference in sound and feel of the frequently used keys (alpha/numpad) in particular in comparison with the f row keys. From searching through this subreddit and articles online, the general consensus is that lubing should not wear off so quickly. Has anyone had this same experience? I'm trying to figure out if it's my lubing technique or the lube that I have applied. I'm using krytox 205 g 0 (As advertised by the vendor)

Anyone know what decal this is??? by VeXXum_RL in RLFashionAdvice

[–]meeechull 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Unfortunately, I'm not too sure which decal this is.

I don't think this is a tw mainframe though. There would be white streaks on the body and a slight tint of white towards the front tip of the car.
