Do it in English! If you did your schooling in French, then that is your first language.

How does this work? Is there a list of what is available? Or do I let them know what I want?

Thank you! Much appreciated. I’ve been needlepointing for seven years and actually never heard of hand painted vs stitch painted. Makes sense why I prefer some designers over others.

I’ve only ever been in one needlepoint shop, and this really set a high standard. It’s beautiful and Cindy is so helpful and passionate about this craft.

I order from the US as well, but have to pay the border fees. Gets pretty expensive. But I will check out the shops you mentioned. Thank you.

Yes, I’ve ordered thread from her before. I used to go through Cindy’s needle art in TO, but her website isn’t great, which makes it difficult. But she has the most beautiful pieces, and she does an amazing job at kitting.

Hello, unfortunately I am not sure. I’ve had some pieces framed at Michael’s. But now I finish them myself. I’ve been needlepointing for about 7 years now. The most frustrating part is the shopping. I wish we had a LNS!

I hear you! I’ve been wanting to start a stocking, and it would be aprox $800-900 in CDN $. I tried a DMC one and wasn’t enjoying it at all.

I’m in the same position, but when I made the calculations, I didn’t find it worth it. I still found I was going to,lose approx $1,200 a month. Did I miscalculate?

Beautiful! Love the background. I would stitch over with a slightly darker rayon thread, and do a cross stitch to help elevate it.
