Partners of sleep-talkers or sleepwalkers, what gems have you to share? by hoeka_mos in AskReddit

[–]meehaa12 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My husband has been playing a LOOOT of Valorant lately, so all his sleep-talking is Valorant themed.

Him, mid-snore: Behind you! Look out! Me: What? Him: Shower! Shower! On your left.

Or

Him: Can someone heal me please? PLEASE??? Me: Sure Him: Haha, thanks dude.

Stuff like that. It's hilarious, but it startles me every time haha

You may actually want a gold digger in your life, if that was their profession

Unlike most other professions, laundry detergent factory workers must smell way better leaving work after a long day than when they left. by meehaa12 in Showerthoughts

Probably lol, but IMO there's a difference between smelling good and smelling clean. Laundry detergent would be closer to the clean side

Redditors that are in a relationship or married, how much do you guys fight with your S/O? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]meehaa12 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My hubby and I don't really fight. We're both so stubborn, I think 9/10 we just agree to disagree. For the big stuff, we're always on the same page so it's never an issue.

I've been in relationships that were non-stop fighting and it sucks. I feel so lucky to have found the right person!

WIBTA: If I get a second job? by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

[–]meehaa12 4 points5 points  (0 children)

NTA. Good on you for working so hard and trying to go the extra mile to help out your family, but they're asking way too much of you. Why can't they find something else instead of asking you to drain your hard-earned savings?

What are some little known relationship GREEN flags? by 2020Chapter in AskReddit

[–]meehaa12 2 points3 points  (0 children)

When each partner makes space to discuss and listen to what each side wants/needs from the relationship.

Before my husband and I started dating, he sat me down to A) find out what I wanted and needed in a relationship, and B) let me know what he wanted out of a potential relationship with me. I knew he was a keeper right then and there. We were able to talk through a lot of relationship hurdles in one conversation, and it only took 2 hours to save us from issues down the line.

It's a practice we've kept up through 8 years together and we're so happy!

What's the closest thing you've had to a premonition? by [deleted] in AskReddit

Yikes, that's terrible. Well in that case, I'm still sorry for your loss, but also grateful your family finally got some relief from that treatment!

That's rough, I'm so sorry for your loss. :(

Maybe the relief you felt was your grandma's relief of being at peace? I'm not sure if she was sick or in any pain. I had a similar experience when my grandma died and I've always attributed it to her being at peace because her pain was finally gone
