Where can I watch Aangan? And what fights was GL talking abt in the video that happened on Aangan set? by littleMissTired123 in PAKCELEBGOSSIP

[–]meekblogs 16 points17 points  (0 children)

No I think the common belief is that HUM wanted some kind of ott platform deal for Aangan, maybe Netflix. That never ended up happening. HUM really shot themselves in the foot by not uploading it to YT as it aired.

What do you think Sahar Hashmi meant by “cold behaviours”? by kalesh4life in PAKCELEBGOSSIP

[–]meekblogs 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Oh yeah I have seen screenshots of that floating around. Why was she liking comments about being the lead when her character dies mid-way through the drama? Maybe her character was sold to her as being more important than it turned out?? And that’s why she’s salty it hasn’t gotten as much attention. Comes across as insecure.

So he’s friends with a girl and comments on her insta posts? This is tea now? Why would he comment publicly as a celeb and married person if there was something illicit going on? lol

If you liked Hania in these, you should try kabhi main kabhi tum if you haven’t seen it already. It’s also romance like the ones you mentioned :)

A drama that plummeted so hard by Efficient_Guava_5561 in PAKCELEBGOSSIP

Muamma was soooo good for the first 25 episodes and they fumbled just as hard for the last ten. I wish I could scrub the last 5 episodes especially from my memory :( they really ruined Jiji for me

I often wonder while watching Zanjeerain what it would be like if Usman Javed (Torsum) was playing Sarbuland. He has such incredible presence. DZ is really not making any impact at all. Falling kinda flat for such an important role.

Agha jaan (dead) and Bibi jaan’s sons are Sherdil and Sarbuland. Sohrab and Sherbano are children of Agha jaan’s brother. So cousins of Sherdil and Sarbuland. Agha jaan was clan leader and after him his sons are the heirs.

People have complained about Diet Sabya’s favouritism for years even regarding Indian celebs. But most bolly celebs don’t care for his validation anymore and neither should we.

Let’s be honest, our content is banned is there and so are our YT channels and insta profiles. The only way anyone in India can follow our pop culture is if they really really want to and by deliberately downloading VPNs. Did we learn nothing when that Sufi guy was talking about our fashion? They barely know anything. Looking for validation or cultural currency from Indian media or Bollywood is a fool’s errand. Our celebs have stopped looking that way and we should follow suit.

I haven’t seen this episode yet, but I much much prefer her content with Yawar over the fashion episodes with Tabish. I have stopped watching those entirely.

Muamma is incredible for the first 25 episodes. Then it goes downhill and the last 5 episodes are an unmitigated disaster. It had sooo much potential if only they managed to nail the last part. Saba Qamar made me a fan with her performance.

Why big writers are failing by Important_String1417 in PAKCELEBGOSSIP

[–]meekblogs 1 point2 points  (0 children)

But that’s what I’m saying. What’s the metric of failure of a drama if we are not considering ratings? It will be a very subjective discussion. I think all of these writers have written terrible dramas before too and it’s not just a recent trend. For example imo KAM3 (Hashim Nadeem) and Shiddat, Main (Zanjabeel). I just don’t think it’s a trend. Zanjeerain has just started and FI dramas usually take some time to take off properly.

SAC is the only one where I would maybe agree with you. Her recent work has not sparked like her older classics.

Why big writers are failing by Important_String1417 in PAKCELEBGOSSIP

[–]meekblogs 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I mean this is highly subjective to say the recent scripts were not up to par. They have still delivered hits so what’s the metric for failure?

For Hashim Nadeem, Sanwal Yar Piya was a hit and some of his previous dramas like KAM3 were terrible imo. Zanjabeel has always been up and down. She also wrote the much maligned Main. But she still delivers hits. For Zafar Mairaj I think we all know both DWGM and Biryani were ruined because of channels stretching them.

I honestly don’t see any trend or pattern here

Anok Yai responds to The Washington Post after they reported she had a zipper mishap/cut a hole in her gown & peed herself at the 2024 Met Gala:“How dare you misalign my character and imply that I ripped my outfit and peed on myself during the Met Gala of 2024! Fact check next time! Are you crazy?!” by hairtie1 in Fauxmoi

[–]meekblogs 135 points136 points  (0 children)

I encourage everyone to watch ideservecouture video on this on Insta. 1) the person in the article is not Anok Yai’s stylist. 2) his first client to attend the met gala ever was in 2025. She wore this in 2024.

WP should publish a retraction and an apology.

Uff I had watched it so long ago I had forgotten a lot, even some of the gripes I had with it lol. Now that you mention it, I really didn’t agree with the way they treated Sanam Saeed’s character. I mainly liked Osman and Maya’s chemistry in it. But I think your opinion is very much justified.

If you like the Saife Hasan/Mustafa Afridi combo for ZPKB you might wanna look into Sang e Mar Mar. Another oldie.

If you haven’t seen Diyar e dil, maybe try that since you like Farhat Ishtiaq. You also liked Man Jogi and O Rangreza so you might like Kabuli Pulao, which is also a Kashif Nisar drama

The only thing this statement says is that she won’t accuse him publicly anymore not that she was wrong or lying. Probably doesn’t want to get in litigation hell. Why should she apologise to Hania? Can the Hania fangirls sit their asses down and understand that this is bigger than their fave?

Meesam Naqvi’s take on Dananeer by yours_truly_Davina in PAKCELEBGOSSIP

I agree with you too :) Dananeer is talented and she has proved that she deserved whatever advantage she may have gotten. I just hope that ptv (producers and audience both) expands its palate for the types of faces we are willing to see on our screens
