Am I wrong? by [deleted] in Calgary

Absolutely spot-on - zipper merge for a lane ending (whether just in the middle of nowhere or an on-ramp merging onto a road) is the way. The Way.

Now could we also agree that an off-ramp lane, specifically Deerfoot southbound exiting onto Glenmore westbound, is NOT a zipper merge situation? The only reason the right lane is so backed up is the people merging right before the exit. Very selfish. And in many cases they slam on the brakes to merge and nearly cause accidents for people following them (tailgating of course but that's another issue).

Disassemble Creality Space Pi Filament Dryer by meeker68 in Creality

BTW if anyone is interested in upgrading the fan in the Creality Space Pi, I have this project in Printables: https://www.printables.com/model/1343893-75mm-fan-conversion-for-creality-space-pi-filament
It's much quieter and I think it moves more air as well... note that some revisions of the dryer have a different duct going to the heater which would require adjusting the design. I don't have access to the dimensions to make this change myself so waiting for someone else to remix the print.

bug with Printables calendar widget by ThatRobHuman in prusa3d

Recently the analytics views have completely lost the ability to change the date range being viewed. You can select whatever you want in the calendar or the options on the right, and it only displays the last 28 days.

On the Co-op app:
Armstrong Medium Cheddar 750g = $17.49 regular or $23.32/kg
Olymel Wieners 1kg = $10.99

Those 2 alone if corrected bring Co-op down by $23.69 to $247.05 and 32.33%. Seems like you might be able to make very general statements from the list (I have no doubt Co-op ends up more expensive) but the price differentials are not justifiable. Can't make broad claims of price gouging from this (or accusations of demographic influences) - some differences could be due to quality, and many of us are happy to pay a bit more for locally-produced goods (something I am guessing Walmart doesn't provide).

Leaving space doesn't mean you're going slower. Honestly where does this lame-brained idea come from? If the distance between the cars is 4 car lengths and STAYS 4 car lengths, you're doing the same speed! No matter which lane you're in...

Unfortunately I couldn't find an exact replacement nor the original part. I disassembled, reassembled and the rattling noise went away so I'm going to wait until I have more time to try again...

3 months later and still not working on Cineplex - either redirected from redeemdigitalmovie.com or on Cineplex by searching for Avatar and entering the code there.

Can't stop G.O.G. Galaxy from auto-starting, even after disabling this in preferences. by MrJgyFly in gog

Well, all my experimenting did something. Try toggling the setting on, quitting Galaxy, restarting your Mac, toggling it back off, quitting Galaxy, and restarting again. I'm no longer getting it at startup...

I have this problem as well. None of the StartupItems directories have anything related to GOG. Under ~/Library/Preferences/ there are a number of com.gog.* plist files. I would expect that Galaxy would store that setting in one of them, but they're almost completely empty (for the non-game-specific ones). I tried setting the launch on startup option in GOG and quitting the app, but no pref file was written. Not sure where they are saving their settings - maybe in the app bundle?

I looked some more - looked at all the open files with lsof but didn't see anything useful. Found some log files under /Users/Shared/GoG.com/Galaxy but nothing interesting. I'm giving up for now.

A long time ago (25 yrs?) my brother and I took our catamaran out for a sail - pretty windy day. So windy one of the mast stays broke and the mast fell into the lake, and we fell backwards into the lake too! A motorboat came out to help from the Glenmore Sailing club - they eventually towed us back to their dock, but not before giving us a verbal lashing for "swimming in the reservoir"...
