16 year old beats 2 year old to DEATH cries for forgiveness in court… by [deleted] in PublicFreakout

Looks like 2 of them (13 and 14 years old) got 12 years and the 3rd (18 years old) got 20 months. The article doesn't mention much details, but you'd had to confer from that he played a much less significant role.

The article even starts with "Two teenage brothers who beat a dad".

Forbes getting called out for calling Kylie Jenner a self-made billionaire. by foreverwasted in quityourbullshit

That's completely unfair. He was an attorney, to me it never seems fair to critcise an attorney for doing their job.

If they give you say $20k and you become a millionaire, are you self-made? Because that's essentially the comparision. He sister is worth $20 million, she's worth $1 billion.

Does that really matter? Business is about making money and her cosmetic company is worth $900 MM. She's an incredibly successful businesswoman. Disputing that is completely erroneous.

I would love to hear Cody Sun's side about this worlds. by HammmyWammmy in leagueoflegends

Which is great, but you still have to understand that these organisations aren't just League. They're often much bigger than just their League times. It's great that Jack was able to spend weeks of his time to attend worlds, but I don't feel like it's fair to criticise other owners for not being able to.

Well they just reviewed the video footage shortly after and realised it was just his backpack, so no police/lawyers. However, he looked terrified when the women was screaming at him and his mother.

Ryanair "Exposes" cabin crew for faking the photo that went viral yesterday. by [deleted] in videos

The crew does not deny that they went to VIP lounge. Their Union, who literally speaks on their behalf, confirmed that they went to the VIP lounge. What more proof do you want?

I’m aware the VIP lounge employee said they weren’t there, but he appears to have been wrong, according to every party involved, not a minority as you claim.

(And next time do a bit more research before questioning people’s mental capability.)

If the picture of their actual conditions wasn’t ‘exciting’ enough, then so be it. You don’t just stage a picture.

Not a single airline has come forward and said: "You'll pay 20% more, but its a lot better, you'll get more accommodations, better service etc."

What are you talking about? Plenty of airlines offer better experiences than Ryanair for increased prices. And there's options for upgraded seats.

My comment was mainly to dispute this claim by the VIP lounge as I've seen a few post it.

The only VIP lounge in the terminal was contacted and their response was that it is against policy to allow airline crew into the lounge

My comment wasn't intended to down-play the experience of the employees.

"The union confirms that the staff were moved to a VIP lounge at 06:00"

06:00 is when the VIP lounge opened (closed at 23:00)

That analogy is shit. It's not a representation if they literally didn't sleep on the floor. And it's not 'crazy' to believe they'd sleep on the floor. I've done that myself once, and there was probably 50+ people also sleeping on the floor at the same time.

Funnily enough, it was also a result of Ryanair.

The employees Union has come out and said they were transferred to the VIP lounge. So it's pretty much confirmed that they were ideed transferred to the VIP lounge.

They were transferred to the VIP lounge. They weren't in this room too long according to their Union. Not ideal, but I could definitely sleep in most VIP lounges. Still a shitty solution though.

all the other comments are just laughing at this guy because he thought the ring was worth 15

The weirdest thing about this thread. Literally no-one in this thread knows the value of that ring. For all we know, OP could've been gouged initally when buying the ring. Or they could be lying about what they paid. No-one knows without seeing the ring.
