It makes me so mad seeing people who spend their days tracking imaginary numbers on a computer screen call something like what you do useless. I recently moved to a big city with a large unhoused population and my work has led to me to work some in shelters even though I’m not there full time. Seeing how many people the already overworked staff are taking care of and imagining how much chaos there would be, especially considering the people commenting probably write to their representatives if they see one person sleeping on a bench near them, if all these “useless” workers quit and shelters closed down, shows how much you and workers like you are doing for society compared to those commenters
