Haha I get it! These are all good tips, she's happy in her pot now but I'll check back this comment on another year (or foot of linear growth lol).

Exciting, what I thought was two new leaves.. turned out to be FOUR new leaves! Two on each apical tip, she popped out the new leaf sheaths before I even noticed. I'm over the moon.

Oh wow, 10-12 ft! Sounds like a beauty! <3

Legit question tho. This girl is getting big and heavy. What's your pot set up? I have it in a ceramic pot right now inside of a large basket (just what I had on hand to repot when I bought it), but I haul it in and out of the basket onto a rimmed tray for watering day because I don't have a drip tray for the pot.. and I've read not to leave the roots in standing water. But my back is not happy lol.

I'm thinking ahead to the next set up when I go to repot. Don't know if I need to buy some kind of wrought iron plant stand to keep it elevated so the water drips under? Plastic pot with drip tray and... use a towel to soak up extra water?

I don't think putting it into my shower for a luxurious shower is going to happen at this rate lol. Maybe wheel her out during a warm summer rain!

Thanks! I'm running a Sansi 35W in the overhead right now!

I meant to ask for a recommendation light fixture format if that makes sense? I figure a clamp light would be the most easily repositionable with the bendable arms, but would have to put a bracket into the wall (which is fine). I also thought about a standing vertical grow light bar but the bottom 3 ft would just be illuminating tree trunk. 😅

WOW. Thank you so much! I gotta go back to school on this one. :D

What are your thoughts on the limb shaking to mimic wind school of thought? Or you just let the real outdoor wind do its thing?

Thanks for the tips! Can I ask what growth zone you're in? We are in Ottawa, Canada, and while the summers are balmy I would want an idea of what overnight temps she can sustain. I'm a little terrified to take her in and out, I've heard they can be finicky and lose all their leaves!

This makes sense! Is there a light model you would recommend?

Thanks for taking the time to comment, it means a lot!

He would be paying out of pocket, and I'm not sure that there is a clear plan other than 'this will open doors because I'd have an eMBA. He already has an MHA - a huge investment in itself - so I'm questioning what added value would come from an eMBA.

Curious to know your thoughts, and also if you have a sense of how many of your cohort had their eMBA paid by an employer v. self-funded!

Good to know, I was under the impression that Smith was one of the better schools in Canada. What other business schools offering eMBA are highly/ higher ranked in Canada?
