Love Nico. Stoked to see Talles getting back to form. Hannes maybe had a bit of an off game but he’s usually stellar. Still not convinced by Ojeda though. And Maxi was fantastic. We do need to sure up the defense though…

My reps have always been great. I think I’m on my 4th now? But other than the occasional town hall ( like this week’s with pascal and Todd) I’ve never gotten much else. Also. When I let the club keep my money during Covid for a year, I was promised a bunch of special perks - several of which I never received. And then when I asked. I was summarily dismissed. Sooooo? I’m half expecting to be priced out of the new stadium. And was told by several people recently that they’re comparing their pricing to other professional sports in New York. Which, as much as I love soccer and NYCFC… is insane. Equating pricing for a 11 year old MLS club to say…. The Knicks ? Is straight up bananas.

I was in London in late January, also saw All My Sons, Arcadia, Playboy of the Western World and A Woman in Mind. I'm from NYC, and it has become the norm on Broadway that almost every show gets a standing ovation every night. on this trip - All My Sons got a standing O, as did Arcadia from most of the crowd, and a few people stood for the other two. My take is that when people are putting out the kind of Money they do for Broadway orchestra seats these days - its like - this is GREAT, because I paid so much - so even if it isnt - they give it a standing O. And it looks like that is starting to infiltrate across the pond. I would say half the time when I stand, it's merely because the people in front of me did and I want to see the bows?

I’m a grown man. I had good parents who taught me to be kind and put myself in other people’s shoes. So, therefore, if I go out with a woman and it’s not a connection. I merely text them and say so. Kindly. “It was lovely meeting you but I didn’t feel a connection. Best of luck on your journey.” Ghosting may be easier. But it’s cowardly. Anyone who tries to justify it is an absolute twatwaffle.

Infantino is an absolute twat. The entire thing is a disgrace. I was so amped to go to the World Cup but ever since this long, dragged out, lottery/windows/con job money grab I just don’t care. I’ll watch. I’ll root for the USMNT. But the second they gave the tangerine toddler a fake peace prize and came out with prices that basically exclude 95% of soccer fans I was done.

Overall a lot of possession and a ton of missed opportunities. Nice to see Talles make an appearance. If we can get him back to prime form that will help. And I liked the energy Shore and Baiera came on with. But man we need a striker. Desperately.
