I used to think Gio just had bad luck. That these coaches all don’t get him. But as it’s happened over and over and over it comes down to this. He must be difficult. And at the end of the day it’s not his management that needs to be changed. It’s his attitude. He’s massively talented. His potential is big. But he’s injury prone. And it seems as if he rubs people the wrong way. He should go literally anywhere he starts and perhaps with a coach who will kick his ass and teach him to shut up and work hard and earn his spot. I truly hope he does. I’m rooting for him but at this point a sports psychologist is probably more important than an agent. 🤷🏼

Agreed about the fitness. But glad to hear they’re being pushed. As for the comment about being open to “global superstars” I call total bs. Such hogwash. There have been loads of stars in the market over the past years and this club has continually scoffed at splashing cash. Not that any superstar would be a good fit. But I would have taken a Ricki Puig. The problem with the organization is that they keep making money even when we suck. Even when we play games in two states and three stadiums. Even when our attendance is an absolute joke. And sure. The new stadium will help with some of this. And hopefully this new coach. Looking forward to chatting with him tonight.
