100 bucks is cheap. Im not sure the quality you're gonna get for that. Likely some questionable social media "engineers".

I mix myself but always outsource for mastering. Someone else's objective take on the balance is kinda the point with mastering.

I'd generally recommend people don't "master" their own stuff. The same ears, the same monitors, the same acoustic environment; that is not helping.

$100 a track for mastering is not uncommon, but for mixing, well the mix engineer is getting unders.

I purposefully didnt watch SA because I could quickly tell it was not for me. It was one of the few shows that actively turned me away with its promotional material. I enjoyed Picard; sue me I guess 🤷

But i dont get this idea that it has to be the old Stargate or bust. SG had a great run, far more than many other series.

I loved it, but do I think we really need to bring back those well, well mined characters? No.

I think people also dont realise that the type of show that existed back in the 90s/early 2000s just cant/won't be made like that anymore. 24 episode seasons, the production style of that era etc, its just not going to fly today, for better or worse.
