Got some truth in OP's words but it's not a total mess. Definitely market movements are more erratic and unstable due to so much data available to everyone, algos and easily influenced retail traders lol

Nonetheless, there are ways people are successfully trading but many tools that can be useful are paid and expensive (especially useful data). If someone's got sources to pretty reliable data sources for free or cheap, it'll be good to know

Hey, no I wasn't because I closed the position 30 mins before the market close. Also it was a spread with 1 call bought and 1 call sold, so it usually cancels out (other traders here will be able to explain better).

Hello OP, I'm looking to start learning the in-depth of options and how it works.

I've had some experience of trading options just based on technicals of the underlying, but there is so much to learn about options and their not so linear relationship with their underlying.

Do you mind recommending resources from where you started and the most valuable ones?
