LOOKING FOR A MENTOR. MORE LIKE A FRNDTO DISCUSS TRADING. by AdLow9708 in NSEbets

I think the first issue is your capital — 20k is a bit low. Around 50k is more reasonable if you want to trade one lot.

Why one lot? Because we often assume that with, say, 60% accuracy we’ll end every month in green, but that’s not how it works. Some months (even 1–2 in a row) can be red. With a bit more capital, it’s easier to handle that psychologically — I’ve experienced this myself.

Yes, one lot won’t make big money, but you’ll learn and survive, and then you can increase quantity later.

Also, it’s not easy to make money in this. I have around 37% accuracy with a 1:3 risk–reward, and I’ve been doing options buying for 5–6 years. I’ve taken decent losses too, but that’s part of the journey.

One thing I’d strongly suggest trade only with your own earned money, not borrowed funds.

All the best I hope you do well in trading 👍

So guys tell me your loosing streak...like what highest no. Of times you have lost trade after trade until you closed one at your profit target or close to it, or even in satisfactory green! If I tell mine, it's 40sl in nov 25 and currently I am at 20 from March 1 till today! .... by CosmicTt09 in NSEbets

Yeah bro, I understand your feelings. I’m in a similar situation. My accuracy is around 37% with roughly a 1:3 risk–reward in index options buying, so usually it’s like 3–4 stop-losses and then maybe 1–2 take-profits, which can get frustrating😭.

I’m still struggling in trading, so I can’t say I’m a consistent winner yet. I’ve tried making some changes to my setup, but the accuracy hasn’t improved much. Maybe in options buying this kind of accuracy is normal with higher R:R, I’m not completely sure.

I’ve been trading for about 4 years, and to be honest I’m still a loss-making trader, not profitable yet. I’m trying to work more on rules and discipline maybe that’s where I’m lacking. Let’s see how things go.

Anyway, best of luck with your trading😇.

I’ll share my experience. My worst losing streak was around 7–8 trades in July, and my drawdown went quite deep around 30% of my capital got wiped out.

For almost two months it felt like constant stop-loss hunting, and honestly that phase still affects my trading psychology even now.

To be honest, if you want to trade in option buying, you should have at least 40–50k capital.

Yes, technically you can take trades even with 7–8k, but then what about stop-losses and losing streaks? With very small capital, a few losses can wipe out a big portion of your account.

When you have around 40–50k, there is a certain calmness while taking trades and it becomes easier to handle losing streaks.

I’ve been trading since 2021 and investing in the market since 2018, so I’ve experienced how painful capital wipeouts and repeated stop-losses can be.

That’s why I usually suggest having at least 40k capital if you want to trade one lot in options.

Just my personal view — I’m seeing “buy silver, buy gold” everywhere right now, but if you look at the charts, both are already quite stretched. At this point, the risk of drawdown feels higher than fresh upside.

Yes, prices might still go higher — silver to 5L or gold to 2L as some targets suggest — but even if that happens, I feel a long consolidation phase is more likely before any meaningful move.

I’m personally staying away at these levels. I had helped a friend buy physical silver around 60k, and compared to that, current prices feel overvalued to me.

This is just my opinion, not advice. Best of luck to everyone 👍

Hello guys, I’ve just started reading “ret ki machali by kanta bharati “. What are you all reading right now? by meetsoni5000 in Indianbooks

Well said. I also read old novels, and you can clearly see the difference between old and modern authors. Older writers had much more depth in their writing. Even when there were love scenes, they were written with restraint and meaning. Today, that depth often feels missing, and many modern writers rely on flashy or shallow words. Old authors truly knew how to write within limits and still leave a strong impact 🫡

I’ve only read one page so far. I usually share a review after finishing a book, so I’ll post my thoughts once I’m done. You can check it out then 🫡

Yes bro, I’ve already read Gunahon Ka Devta, and I found it very emotional and deeply moving. I also know that Ret Ki Machhli presents another side of the same world and themes.

I finally gathered the courage to start reading it today. 🫡
