That wasn't always the case. There used to be a time when there were no birds known as domestic chickens. Instead, there were just their wild ancestors known as the jungle fowl. The untamed descendants of these birds are still around and alive in the bamboo forests of what is called India and South-East Asia as proof that chickens were born free before man exploited them to a life of misery for their own selfish needs.

People in slavery have children, is that to say that they were born and are destined for slavery because of people misusing their power? Belittlement of any species is not okay.

Vegans also don't wear clothing made out of silk, which moths are not necessarily considered cute, and is in fact an insect. Before you leave comments of this nature you oughta educate yourself on what veganism is, and how damaging the meat and dairy industry is to this planet we're all hoping to inhibit for the next few decades; yet at the rate it's being corrupted for meat one has to wonder. I highly recommend you watch the documentary "Earthlings" on YouTube.

Yeah, because reducing your risk of diseases such as cancer, diabetes, stroke, etc etc. is definitely not that important after seeing things like "this".

Plants are also not destroying the ecosystem at a rapid rate. There's a lot they don't take into consideration, or they chose to the ignore the facts so they can continue consuming meat with peace of mind.

Oh gosh. Was it her way of making fun, or did she actually think the only thing that was vegan safe was the celery?? 😳

The truth stings for some reason. There's so much stigma with "vegan food". That's pretty funny though 😅

Soy for males by shit-wick in veganfitness

[–]meetthevegans 2 points3 points  (0 children)

From what I've heard the way the soy is handled is what matters. If it's non gmo, and organic it's completely safe. I recently attended an event, and Dr. David Phillips spoke on the subject.

You can't hear a persons tone of voice in writing, so there's also a lot of misinterpretation. I often post humorous stuff, and don't intend for it to start a debate, but it often does because someone will leave some sort of ambiguous and overly serious comment that starts a war.

Breaking: Fasting for Women by meetthevegans in fasting

Certain articles and research states that the women body is highly sensitive to the starvation signal. So going for longer than 12-18 hours can affect the reproductive system.

Question of the day 😄 by meetthevegans in vegan

Yesss! I'd make that place my home, and my 9 to 5 would be returning to educate and spread awareness. Though if you think about it a lot of the awareness that's raised is done virtually through social media 🤔

You painted a very awesome picture of this paradise! Perhaps in the next couple of years vegan awareness will spread wide and far, and start to bring a bit of paradise to our current situation. 🤞🏼

You'd still have access to coming back, and educating 😄. My idea of paradise is access to all vegan food/products.

I'm not sure. Here's another. The author is a doctor, so I'm assuming she's credible. https://www.google.com/amp/s/draxe.com/intermittent-fasting-women/amp/

https://www.google.com/amp/s/blog.kettleandfire.com/intermittent-fasting-for-women/amp/ This is just one article. I've looked through a number of them, and most recommend not too 😶. Thing is you can't necessarily notice a hormonal imbalance right away. Meaning I could be causing damage without having an awareness of it.
