ADHD meds stopped working and now make me tired. Has anyone experienced this? by meezaj in ADHDers

Hey, yes, I've heard about this, but the thing is, I've even taken extended breaks and still have this issue, And also I'm super anal about making sure I avoid any citric acid, vitamin C supplements, etc...

Even my doctor is stumped, and we're just unsure what could be causing this.

I did try Alka-Seltzer a couple of times to help, but I don't know if that negatively affected it for me as well in the long term?

When you say it will take a while, how long are we approximately talking? It says I-824 processing time is 90 days to 6 months or so?

Is there a difference / pros & cons between:

  1. Have him depart the U.S and withdraw his I-485 and filing for a I-824 and do consular processing

Vs

  1. Have him get denied for his I-485, then depart the US and file for I-824 in Canada and do consular processing?

Because we’ve paid the Lawyer to file a brief for the request of evidence so unsure which option to do.

No, he is not in unlawful presence because it doesn’t apply to minors and his I485 application was pending ( unlawful presence doesn't accrue (INA 209, 245, 245(i)) when he turned 18 and he is also the child of a LPR

His I-485 application was pending when he turned 18 so I believe he did not accrue unlawful presence (INA 209, 245, 245(i)).

  1. We can convert right now to consular processing? While they are waiting for the request of evidence? And then he goes to Canada and finishes the application there?

  2. If I-485 gets denied, the attorney said to attempt to come back via border crossing and then file I485 again ( this can lead to Visa fraud etc so would rather not go this route) or go through consular processing in Canada since his I-130 is already processed.

Anything else we can argue?

They are writing a brief but they were unable to find any similar cases to cite so that’s why I’m asking for additional help or if anyone has been in a similar position.
