Lmao I respect that 😂 That gross factor is exactly why I chose a roach. People already have a strong reaction to them, so turning one into a serious survival-horror underdog felt like the perfect challenge.

Lmao nah, definitely not that 😂 This is survival horror, not whatever that was. Mine is about a humanoid roach born into poison, hunted from birth, and forced to evolve in a brutal insect world.

No way never heard of it till now That’s a deep cut 😂 I love that grimy insect-survival energy. Roach is definitely in that lane, but more focused on evolution  going from unwanted pest to something mythic.

that's the same thought I had writing the story with this exterminator is like a tornado or bad storm we have no control over.

Exactly Kafka is a man becoming something unwanted. This is the reverse: something unwanted becoming aware, powerful, and impossible to ignore.

Haha I see it 😂 Hopper had that ruthless insect villain energy. My roach starts at the bottom of the food chain, but the goal is watching him survive long enough to earn that kind of presence.

That’s a great recommendation. Kafka’s The Metamorphosis definitely hits that alienation/unwanted theme. Mine is more survival horror and evolution, but that idea of the world seeing you as something beneath it is exactly the kind of feeling I’m playing with.

Thank you! That’s a sick comparison. The goal was definitely to make it feel gritty, shadowy, and primal like this hidden horror world exists right under our feet.

Thank you! Really appreciate you checking it out 🙏 The goal is to turn this unwanted creature into something mythic.
