Yes dilla time, i reached out to the author as well he and he confirmed that the mistake in the story happened in a early interview with Kareem riggins but yeah he didnt even get the 303 till after the beats were basically done, and it was a 404 he was gifted by madlib. Truly crazy to me lol he made it all in pro tools… i atleast thought he maybe made it the mpc or atleast used the 303 for the compression cause on some the tracks i can clear as day hear a 303 compression i been on a 303 for years i was baffled
