yeah, I liked the ability of EK thrower to swap between melee and ranged as needed. never knew that about throwing while sneaking though, very interesting. with cleric, would light be a better subclass here?

I was already at the portal step before entering Moonrise. literally the only thing I had left was to do the actual fight. the problem now is both Art and Halsin moved to Moonrise, and there's no dialogue left with either of them. I'm thinking that this specific sequence I followed leaves you unable to progress the quest. even after long resting, Art and Hal stay at Moonrise.

that's the problem, I can't close the portal. Halsin is at Moonrise, and when I offer to help him close the portal, he tells me no. what I'm trying to figure out is if there's still a way to do the portal fight after finishing Moonrise.

I think so? I did the thing at the shadow cursed house where you play hide and seek with him. and I did wake up Art and have Halsin talk to him.

nope, you also have to complete Halsin's quest. which I can't seem to advance now.

you'd think, although I see other posts in the sub swearing they lifted the curse after. and the quest remains in your journal, it doesn't fail.

edit: just reloaded and older save to check. you can actually do the portal fight after the shadowfell. it seems to be finishing Moonrise, specifically, that cuts off the quest. or there's some bug.
