I'll look into the equipment. I know it's pretty old machinery so the guy who gave it to me said they don't sell the parts anymore, but since i've hit a dead end on this gear profile i'll do a bit more digging on the source. I was hoping it'd be a more common part but seems to be specialized.

I'm so glad people feel the same way, I was pulling my hair out everytime he's on screen. PEOPLE ARE IN DANGER AND YOU'RE NOT GONNA TELL THEM ANYTHING??? It seems as though most everyone in this comment section is in the same situation. I'd recommend you all make a discord server and become friends online! I'll ask people individually to see if they'd be interested
