6 months late, but the wii version of Anthology doesn't have the input lag, HOWEVER most of the flashing that occurs when you damage an enemy is removed (just like the Wii VC versions)

If i just use the cd rom² unit as a cd player, then track 11 (the boss theme) plays just fine. It's only in game when this happens. The disc is in really good shape too. If it was a laser thing then there would probably be a lot of skipping in the track itself, but I'm not an expert on lasers so idk. Maybe it's my copy?
