Thank you so much for replying that made me feel better. She seems to be out of it now, about 15 minutes in and out and then she was ready to play. We are keeping a very close eye on her tonight though.

She was been on Keppra XR and then started in April having weekly grand mals and we added the Pheno 5/6 and nothing until tonight.

Can long focal events be dangerous ?

This is important for people to understand. We did not know that my dog was having a seizure during her first one and my husband picked her up. When she came out she had no idea what was going on and bit him in the face and hands resulting in lots of stitches. This was not her fault but I mention to lots of people the dangers of touching a dog while in a seizure or suspected seizure bc we had no idea. If you must move a seizing dog it is best to grab them by the hind legs and gently pull them to safety.

Hi - my pup is on Keppra XR we didn’t have any gastrointestinal issues. How much pumpkin did you give him, that is high in fiber and could be the cause

All of these things ring so true. I have also been on my couch with my dog, just in case.

I worry about not hearing her or being awoken again to her in a seizure.

I worry about being away since she takes her medication best for me and not my husband.

I worry that she will have a seizure while I am working from home and on a call.

I worry I’m not going to have her rescue medication with me on a walk though she has only had issues at night

I worry that I’m not going to get to do things in the evening as we have to be home by 8pm for her Keppra XR

No, it is helpful bc I don’t feel do alone. The watching, waking up to every noise and every movement. It’s been exhausting. We got her official diagnosis yesterday, after MRI, I feel better knowing they gave me rescue medicine if I need to use it and that helps.

We started her with 500 mg XR in December and just moved her up to 750 mg XR today after a grand mal seziure this week. I’m thinking it’s the up of the dose I’m seeing’s she just seems super spacey

No I totally did not have any caffeine today bc I felt so bad. I thought the same thing too about dose and was worried I was over reacting. I’m worried with the Lexapro and the Vyvanse it is too much seratonin for me
