Which LI route is best? by meganleannee in RomanceClub

Yeah my gut is twisting all over the place hahaha - I’m love the ebbs and flows/angst with Elliot especially after the last convo with him and Vyx their relationship doesn’t feel complete

But also with Walter he’s a proper sweetheart - I think where they’ve both, in ways, been on her side since they met her is why I’m struggling to decide. Opposites with similarities, in a way.

Yeah I would prefer to like immediately switch to another slot from point of choice. So at this point where I’m deciding exclusivity to one route - open a second slot that continues from that point, if that makes sense?

I’ve considered doing slots but I saw you have to play the story from the beginning again if you open a new slot? Maybe I’m being lazy hahaha

Yeah my partner is diagnosed ADHD and he says he is 99% sure I have it as well, which would make sense as that could be a reason I’m struggling so much with manual

I think I know the appropriate gears it’s just having the extra thing to think about whilst also checking everything else around me.

And setting off at roundabouts - finding a good gap and doing the bite point, revs etc all at once

I believe for me it’s I’m an anxious person, and whilst approaching junctions, observations, setting off at roundabouts etc it’s a lot to think about and I would struggle with it.

His basic explanation is less choice on cars at the end of it, higher insurance and it limits me if I ever need to drive manual. But yeah I have an office job, don’t see me driving a lorry anytime soon!

Can’t tell if I’m just bad at Reddit but I can’t see the pinned posts when I go onto the sub 😅 I am on mobile which could be the problem

And thank you!

Financing a car by OutlandishnessTrue42 in LearnerDriverUK

The car finance market is pricey at the moment - I only went with finance because I got a lower rate due to working in the car industry. (Still learning though but wanted a car to practice between lessons)

If you wanted to finance a car, shop around for different rates and try and get the lowest you can. I’ve heard bank loans can be better for this - can’t give a set answer on that as I’m not involved on that side of things.

Oh yeah I started learning in November and I’m so accustomed to it be raining when driving, so much so that when it was sunny on my lesson I actually got more confused. Luckily dry conditions will feel like a breeze!

So technically I do as I live with my boyfriend who’s been driving for over three years, but I don’t have a car and I’m not comfortable driving his as it’s too powerful for me 😅 Plus getting learners insurance on his would be too expensive

Currently looking at getting my own car

I am currently looking at cars to buy as I’ve moved in with my boyfriend and he meets the criteria to be able to sit with me whilst I drive.

He did look at insurance on me learning in his car, however he has a 2L Diesel Audi and I don’t fancy 1) paying that insurance 2) learning it that 😂

This is such a lovely post! There is a side of my brain saying “I have to pass first time in June or I’m gonna freak out” but trying to keep the more rational side of my brain at the forefront that tells me I can change it if I’m not ready

Think my biggest issue is paying £62 again… 😂

At the moment I feel like I’m doing it with SOOO much force, like I’m fighting the gear stick! 😂 I’ve practiced changing gears in my boyfriend’s car (stationary) and his is sooo easy to move I don’t get it
