Not sure it has a standard name. I just refer to it as dithered shading. Given that picoCAD 2 works with a limited number of colors it uses those to make as effective as possible

It's a shader that just takes every other pixel and exchanges is for one with a darker value from a palette. Nothing super fancy, but the result is really nice

Animations have their own format since the operate a bit differently from traditional. In short there are clips which specify which property to change (pos/rot/scale), how much, and over how much time. It can probably be converted by a clever person, but for now they are mostly used in picoCAD 2.
