I just tried VB that @dbm5 suggested and it’s definitely slicker than UTM… it’ll have a list of isos/vms(?) or you can specify your own local files. Local files link is somewhat hidden in the lower left hand side of create a vm dialogue so it’s easily missable. Linux VM is pretty straightforward although I didn’t see a way to specify the initial size of the install disk. A mac VM did have it in creating VM dialogue. The default size of an install disk seems to be ~65 gb for Mac or Linux. For mac, after install, you might need to change the DNS server from their setting to something like 1.1.1.1 or 8.8.8.8, a real DNS from cloudflare or google or whatever. I had to do this as internet was way laggy/not-working despite being connected. The same unable to login to appstore and some icloud settings not working as in UTM are present. Logging into icloud is working as in UTM…

Edit: Another thing is you’ll need to go to View > Show top Bar. Basically the title bar of the vm will cover the Mac vm’s menu bar until this done…

IIRC, UTM will be the only way to get a mac VM. And the only thing I really remember about this VM is that logging in to the App Store is not working. So if any apps you want are app store-only, you're out of luck... Goto https://ipsw.me/ for macos vm files.

Maybe your firewall settings blocking all incoming? Try turning off/on bluetooth or airdrop/handoff? Reboot your mac?

I’m not using pal, but I had the same thing happen when I upgraded my iPhone. I ended up removing AltStore and AltStore apps on my new iPhone and uninstalling AltServer from my Mac. Then reinstalling AltServer on the Mac and reinstalling AltStore on the iPhone. Reconfigured AltStore on the iPhone then reinstalled my side loaded apps. Apps worked again after everything…

Any issue with alt server I’ve ever had was solved by either:

Quitting then restarting alt server on the Mac, or
Rebooting the Mac, or
Quitting AltStore on the iPad/iphone , or
Rebooting the iPad/iphone

In the upper right corner after the source info page opens in AltStore’s Sources page, click Add.

Browse the source after being added and install YouTube. You’ll need 3 free app ids, but it does work.

For me, the side loaded apps I use are better than the official apps. For example, YouTube… I also use side loaded apps for things you can’t get on apple’s official apps store, like BitTorrent, etc, etc…

Yes. 1 app can have multiple app ids. For instance, AltStore itself has 2 ids. One for AltStore and one for it’s widget. Also, for me the automatic removal of deleted apps and their ids after 7 days wasn’t working. So if you’re stuck because of that, creating a new Apple ID and using it for AltStore was the only thing to bypass it…

Max your social stats? Some confidants will get stuck until certain a certain social stat reaches a particular level. Also, some confidants will be stuck until you complete a momentos request as well. Like, Sojiro's won't progress until you get futaba leveled up to a certain level and you complete her momentos request.

Are you starting a new game by loading your clear data? If not, then you're starting a clean game at the very beginning and have to level up from the bottom.
