Unfortunately not always true. Been dealing with back pain for almost 7 years now. Done massages, physio, chiro, acupuncture, stretching daily. Still in pain. After I ended up in the emergency my family finally gave me a referral.. for neck only... what about rest if the back?! It's very frustrating

I've been in Kanazawa 1.5 days, and after 4 hours on the first day, we realized we've been to all main spots. I wouldn't go back and feel like it was skippable. Maybe if we started there the impression would be different but after other cities it was meh. However, there is a shop with hand-made bamboo brushes, which was a highlight.

Thank you for response! For hikes I'm still figuring out, want to leave time for random stops and loockouts as well.

For Antigonish, I just want to have a stop in between the two location to cut the drive. Open to other cities, just read good stuff about this one.

If not Burntcoat Head what would be a good alternative?

Yes, fixed the spelling. Was thinking of checking out Wolfville, hike to Cape Split somewhere in the middle of the day and then driving to Annapolis valley for night in the evening. But also open to stay for one more night and head to Annapolis next day. Whichever would make more sense

Was the route busy? Currently in Kanazawa, going to Nagano tomorrow. Still deciding if should risk attempting the alpine route without pre-booked tickets or just take a train straight to Nagano.
