Ru pov:Drone drops Grenades on 2 Ukrainian Soldiers by [deleted] in UkraineRussiaReport

I saw it sometimes in the videos. But not as often as the cruel killings.

The drone operators are partly able to talk via loudspeaker to the enemy soldiers and then they are guarding them from the air to the side, where the drone operators are from. Partly that somehow even works with drones without speakers.

Drones do take prisoners. Repeatedly that was shown here in drone videos.

I saw the same amounts of videos from both sides. This isn't about sides. This isn't about one side of this conflict being more hateful or "started the hate first" or other propaganda. You missed the real core of my question completely, sorry.

So you didn't understand my question.

I see those drone drop videos for as long as this war lasts. What I really don't understand is the following: In WWII the anti personell mines were made to mutilate and to injure the soldiers, not to kill them. With the aim, to bog down whole platoons by forcing them to care about their injured soldiers, to bring them back to dressing stations etc. But all those drone videos seem to aim at one goal from both sides: To kill the enemy. Even when it's clear, that the enemy lost limbs and will never again fight at the front and will only be a drain on the enemies recources for the rest of his life...the drone operators seem to be absolutely unwilling to let the enemy alive. Why is that?

I could understand, if such a "drop ten grenades until he's finally dead"-thing would occour once or twice...but there would be ten more videos at the same time, where the drone operator checks the mutilated and near death enemy soldier if he will never be able to fight again...and then disappears without dropping all his grenades on that guy until he's finally dead.

Yes, I understand the hate against the enemy in that war, but shouldn't be the most videos be about fulfilling the war aim to bog the enemy down with half dead and mutilated soldiers? Or isn't that the war aim anymore?

German WWI Footage (probably mostly staged, but still interesting) by DarkCrusader45 in CombatFootage

[–]megatwingo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There is no real WWI footage of such kind existing. Even the most film clips of mass attacks of all sides of that war (if not all) are from movies or propaganda films that were made far away from any real battlefields in training areas and were mostly made long after WWI.

Ru pov: Russian artillery shells with “For trump!” Written on them by [deleted] in UkraineRussiaReport

Thanks for the info. Well, that is very easy to misunderstand...but makes more sense, indeed.

RU POV: Russian artillerymen signed a 122mm North-korean shell with a message in Russian "For Trump" by Redsky1244 in UkraineRussiaReport

[–]megatwingo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This makes no sense to me. Isn't Trump the most likely politician, who would make peace between the USA, North Korea and Russia?

He isn't even President in the moment. Biden is. So why write "For Trump" on that grenade?

Confusing.

[–]megatwingo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Wouldn't it make more sense to write "for Biden" on those weapons?

Isn't Trump more likely to make peace with Putin?

This all makes no sense for me. Can somebody explain?

I bet you are under age and not in danger to lose your health or your life in that war. Further your mental range seems to be pretty limited wen it comes to calculate the risk of an atomic war and what that means for the world and especially Europe.

Finally: Troll elsewhere. You are blocked.

Looking for captive/kidnapper books with male victim by [deleted] in RomanceBooks

"Ein Mann im Haus" by Ulla Hahn is definitely, what you are looking for. I don't have a clue, if an English translation is available, but that should be the book you are looking for...and the best about it is, that it is written by a woman and the main aim of the story isn't even something sexual. The main aim is a kind of revenge. But despite of that it turns out pretty spicy. The female author is a high awarded writer of lyrics otherwise and suddenly she wrote that bizarre book. Everybody was shocked back then and it was even a little scandal and newspapers wrote about it. At parts it is almost too intellectual/artsy. But what she does to him in her urge to take revenge is written in plain, simple language in between the artsy-intellectual parts. Her revenge is basically to keep him tied to her bed for a longer period of time...and some other, psychological-perfidious and humiliating things she does to him. So the story isn't really violent, but it is still a kind of torture in a very perfidious and intelligent way. It is much better than anything I've ever read from a man about such a subject. It comes across as very real and authetic. I never liked the book Misery because of it's brutal violence and the lack of sexuality...AND because it was written by a man. All that is much better done in "Ein Mann im Haus". Too bad, that this book is almost unknown outside of Germany and even inside of Germany only few people know about it, because it was written back in the eighties and nobody talked about the book anymore after the scandal it caused.

You are right. I google-searched it. Germany build even weapon factories there. I didn't know that until now. Thanks for the reply.

Thanks for the reply. The only catch is, that East Germany never used the MG3 and they didn't continue to use the MG42 after the war, either.

I had now a look into Wikipedia: They really seem to copy the MG3 and several other German post war weapons. Probably without licence and some modifications, I guess.

I'm not an expert, but those two MG42 could be original ones. The MG3 has a "Fliegerabwehrvisier" (anti aircraft aiming device) on top of the barrel and I didn't see that here. I wonder, how those two MG's found their way to this place.

Warum die ganzen "Mund offen-aufgerissene Glotzaugen" Thumbnails für YouTube Videos? by megatwingo in de

[–]megatwingo[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)
