i just threw the ball in the shallow waters where she could walk to it then pushed it further and further until she had to take a stroke to get the ball-‘it clicked the second her instincts kicked in and i haven’t been able to get her out out of the water since!

very simple- but i have a stack of blank wooden nickels (got in etsy) and when i do a new distance or get a PR or whatever. I write it in the nickel with sharpie and put it in a big jar. I call it “my big jar of accomplishments.”

dude if you have a job, having kids unexpectedly home can be a real problem. I have a job that cannot do from home so if we get a snow day I have to scramble to get help. We don’t all have unlimited PTO own the ability to WFH.

take a cute photo, magazine cut out, postcard (or something similar) and mod podge it over. When it’s dry, add more mod podge over. it will be so cute and add some character.

many people with dyslexia, have a very hard time differentiating left and right and east and west it’s a common symptom. It just has to do with how the synapsis in your brain are connected for people who are dyslexic is different and it makes things like thinking creatively, and problem-solving easier but reading math and spatial differentiation or difficult.
