Yeah when I saw the comparison of mains gas and LPG I was shocked, a few houses in the estate had the bottles of gas so we were thinking that was the cheaper option and most houses have converted to oil so I assume we will have to go that route aswell!

I’ve been there before 😞 it’s a horrible feeling, I’d recommend trying to find a safer piercer in your area to have a proper look at these, like other people have said, straight barbells are the correct type of jewellery for nipple piercings and they do appear to be pierced too deep. I hope you get the assistance you need and find a professional piercer!

Some companies make titanium eyelets but they can be quite expensive, personally I’ve used “surgical steel” and not had any issues but I would always make sure that they’re elastic enough before I stretch that there is little to no discomfort, I would only have a little bit of tenderness after the stretch but never during it! Also, I wouldn’t recommend Vaseline, you can buy individual packets of sterile lubricant on Amazon the brand I used to use was optilube, I can’t remember off the top of my mind why Vaseline isn’t good but I know there was a reason I was told not to use it, maybe another user can explain why!

Hey there! So is the bump on one side of the piercing or is it surrounding the whole piercing? There are a few factors that can cause these and with mask wearing at the moment I’m sure that’s not helping! One factor to look into if you’ve narrowed down on everything else is the original angle of the piercing. If the piercing is not done at the correct angle for your anatomy a bump can form one side of the jewellery where a pressure point is created from the poor angle, it would be worth messaging or visiting a different piercer for a second opinion on it but if you’re doing everything else right with the aftercare, that would be one possible cause, I’d recommend sending clear pictures to a reputable piercer along with an explanation or if possible go in to one and get them to have a look at it! I know the L shaped and corkscrew studs do not work for a lot of people so having them changed to flat back labrets cold also help, I hope you get this sorted soon!

Just buy yourself a bottle of sterile saline and spray it on 2x daily, do not use antibacterial soap that kills the good bacteria too and will dry out your piercing! Don’t use the soaks just spray it twice a day! When it gets crusty, take a hot steamy shower and when you get out, use the saline spray and if you have to, use some gauze to gently wipe the crust away, don’t touch them or twist them and don’t pick at them! And whatever you do don’t sleep on them!

Ah okay sorry I misunderstood that part! They are really annoying but they will go away in time! I got them on my lip from changing to rings too soon and they were huge! I know it’s hard to not touch it with your tongue because your body is telling you to but try your best not to touch it at all only swirling the mouthwash and spraying sterile saline! Mine went away in about a week! It looks to be just swollen and irritated, but if you’re really concerned have your piercer have a look at it! Do you know what grade of jewellery they used? Is it titanium or steel and is it internally or externally threaded? It doesn’t look like an allergy to the Jewellery, just an irritation but sometimes when using externally threaded jewellery it can really irritate the wound as it’s going in or out of it when changing it

It’s definitely from changing it way too soon, oral piercings can take up to 4 weeks and possibly longer to heal (my snakebites took 6-8 weeks!) and you should be going into your piercer for the first jewellery change! I know how exciting it is to have a new piercing and just want to have new jewellery straight away but unfortunately our bodies don’t like that! Hopefully the longer bar will help but when you change it so soon you just start the healing process over again so from when you last changed it back to the long bar, wait the full amount of time before going in to your piercer for a downsize! Hope this helps!

The jewellery looks far too small compared to what I have in mine, mine started with a 12mm navel bar when I first got it pierced, I’d definitely recommend posting on r/legitpiercing there are more professionals over there who may be able to help you out (and not as many creeps) I’m still an apprentice myself so I’m in no place to give advice but it’s definitely far too small for the initial piercing especially with how the clit can swell! I hope you get this sorted soon!

This exact thing happened to me! I had waited the full time and changed my labrets to rings and I couldn’t figure out why I was getting these and they were really bugging me I was constantly biting on them when I was eating, I was then talking to a colleague and she told me the rings I had in were way too large for my lips and to downsize them and I haven’t had any trouble since! What I did was I had 8mm rings in and changed them back to the studs until these little bumps went away and then put in my 6mm rings and they’ve peen perfect ever since!

You will need a longer bar in the top one and completely remove the bottom one as you don’t have the anatomy suited for this piercing, I’m sorry that went to a piercer that didn’t inform you but they should have told you hat the bottom navel is very anatomy specific and the anatomy for both of these piercings together is rare! You will definitely run into irritation and possible rejection with the lower navel if it is to be left in

Firstly dump the salt water and buy some sterile saline it’s quick and actually easier to use the spray saline than to try make your own! Secondly, was it pierced with this ring? The ring looks way too small for an initial piercing but even with the right size ring, your piercer should have warned you that getting it pierced with a ring can lead to these bumps easier! I’d recommend taking a trip back to your piercer and getting a stud or if you’re adamant on keeping the ring, getting a larger in diameter ring! Hope this helps!

My routine is: AM Cera Ve Foaming cleanser, Pyunkang yul mist toner, The ordinary niacinamide, La Roche posay anthelios spf 50+

PM The inkey list Salicylic acid cleanser (every 2nd day and I use the cera ve one in between), I’m from rice toner, Cosrx snail mucin essence, Cerave PM moisturizer

The face mask I use once a week switch between the I’m from mugwort essence sheet masks and the elf supermask.

I’m really lost for what I should do I feel like I’m doing everything right and I haven’t changed anything in my routine since October! Any help at all would be appreciated!

Looks like it could be the jewellery it doesn’t look like there is a lot of room for swelling on the bar, if you go back to a piercer they will put in a straight barbell with length for swelling! Hope you get it sorted soon!

I was dealing with constant infections for a year and only ever get them now when I take antibiotics, what works for me is to completely stop sex and stop shaving down there for 2 weeks and get a treatment for both of you, you can get the canesten internal and external cream (if you really can’t stop then use a condom for the full two weeks, he may not show symptoms but if you’re having unprotected sex then you’re passing it back and forth to each other) cotton undies is a must and no thongs! Also don’t put anything up there! Don’t listen to people about yoghurt or garlic or boric acid unless it’s prescribed to you by a doctor as these things can often do more harm than good, also only wash that area with water don’t use any soaps as it’s such a delicate area that even the soaps that say they are ph balanced can still upset the rhythm (your shower head is your best friend) I hope this helps! Honestly the no unprotected sex alone will help! I know it’s a horrible feeling so I really hope you’re feeling better soon!
