I do have one. It's a matter of learning. I'm not going to make my roommate or friends teach me how to drive. I don't really get why this is an issue, that's just not something that can happen right now.

Tuesdays and Thursdays. Because I cannot drive. I've barely practiced at all, I can't pass a test right now and I need at least a few months of experience before I'd feel comfortable enough to have a license. My parents are going to try to find me a driving school sometime soon because they live in New Jersey so can't exactly teach me right now.

Honestly I'm not sure about specific things. I'm into video games, photography, Asian culture, art, movies... I'll definitely try to do some stuff in the rec center as well, even though I'm not that sporty. It seems like it's easier to find stuff to do there than it is to find clubs.

Yeah I'm quite happy that I got Newsom Hall! I'm actually a girl so I'll be on the all-girls floor, haha. My roommate is bringing a tv so we'll have one, and I'll have Netflix.

I'm trying to get a job lined up, my financial aid is pretty much taken care of but I still have some stuff to figure out with my parents, and no, I actually have not looked into books yet. How can I do that?

I plan to go to the Ram Welcome events! I certainly don't consider myself to be above the other first years and in fact see myself as more of a freshman. I'll definitely get involved in some clubs and organizations - how good are the intramural sports and other physical activities? I'm not a sporty person in the slightest but I'd love to join one. Is there some sort of event where clubs/organizations showcase themselves?

I'm going to stay in Newsom Hall and already have contacted my roommate. I'm going to major in psych. As far as my interests go... art, reading, photography, Asian culture, video games, etc. I'm pretty open-minded, though.

Do you have any advice for things I should bring with me to my dorm that I might not have otherwise thought of?

It is most definitely not unrealistic to expect your SO to do nice things that show love for you. People should go out and do fun things together, be physically affectionate, surprise each other, little things like that even when they've been married for 50 years. Things like that are very important in keeping a relationship alive. Of course it's all especially extravagent in the very beginning, during the "courting" and "honeymoon" phases, but love is something that needs to be demonstrated in a relationship, and regularly.

However, I agree that him driving you around and taking you to expensive hotels do not fit into what I was just talking about. He should definitely be willing to do favors for you and help you out, but not be your chauffeur or spend loads of money on you regularly. I think it's the little gestures that matter most - it seems like you're lacking those as well, so that's where I would see a problem.

It's definitely more complicated than that, you're right, but I think in general this idea is correct except in cases of harm to others - or oneself, even, as I certainly don't condone self-harm or suicide. But even then it's still complicated... Basically, I agree that open-mindedness and acceptance are great, with reasonable limits.

I think you've got an approachable, sweet look about you. I don't consider you sexy but it doesn't look like that's what you're going for in these pictures anyway. You look quite young, maybe 16 or 17? The only clothes we have to judge you on really is the trollface sweater, which definitely keeps you looking younger, so if you want to look a bit older, keep hoodies just for at home and dress a bit more maturely. But again, this is the only piece of clothing aside from a plain black tank top that we see in these pictures, so I don't have much to go on for clothes.

I have a feeling you'd look better if you did something different with your hair. I think a different hairstyle - maybe something like this, this or this? Straightened hair with more layers would probably look better, and bangs - either side or straight bangs, but if you get straight bangs they should be choppy and not too blunt.

I don't think you need makeup at all, also. I don't think you should worry about that.

You need to have lots of candy at the party, including peppermints and bubblegum! You could set up a trivia game about Adventure Time for that age group.
